(CNN/Meredith) -- President Donald Trump is picking his own personal favorites from the field of Democratic presidential hopefuls.

In an interview with Fox Business that aired Friday, Trump said he would most like to run against Joe Biden, Bernie Sanders or Beto O’Rourke in 2020.

“I’d love to have Biden, I’d love to have Bernie, I’d love to have Beto... Beto seems to be the one the press has chosen,” Trump said.

And O’Rourke is pushing for the matchup too, stopping at more than 20 events in five states in his first week on the trail, including his latest visit in South Carolina.

On his packed tour, O’Rourke was quick to broadcast his bipartisan credentials.

“Anything I got done, I got done with Republican colleagues. Bipartisanship, walking across as well as working across the aisle,” O’Rourke said.

His message seemed to reach even a few Republicans in Rock Hill, South Carolina.

Voter Mike Harris said he is looking for anyone but Trump.

“Somebody with integrity, with character, that my son can look at and I can say 'that's a good person,’” Harris said.

While Joe Biden -- another of the president's preferred Democrats -- has yet to declare, sources tell CNN the former vice president is eyeing an April announcement, possibly later in the month.
