ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) -- “Dignity Period Has the Blues” will be held on Sunday, October 12 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Harold and Dorothy Steward Center for Jazz.

Tickets are on sale for "Dignity Period has the Blues"

Kim Massie, Denise Thimes, Gene Dobbs Bradford are notable performers for the event.

The doors open at 5 p.m. The program begins at 6 p.m.

Tickets cost between $30 and $45.

The St. Louis-based non-profit organization, Dignity Period, is dedicated to keeping adolescent Ethiopian girls in school by ensuring girls have access to feminine products and education.
