Ashli Lincoln is excited to be part of the KMOV News Team! Coming from Tulsa, Ok Ashli is getting used to calling the Midwest her home.
The Atlanta native comes to KMOV from KOKI in Tulsa, where she worked as a daily investigative reporter for FOX 23 News.
While at FOX 23 Ashli received an Emmy nomination and was a part of the news team that helped the station win two Regional Murrow awards for her reporting on the aftermath after a tornado hit midtown Tulsa in 2017 and an officer-involved shooting in North Tulsa.
She’s also covered a series of high profile cases that garnered national attention.
Prior to working in Tulsa Ashli began her reporting career in Savannah, Ga. There she covered a number of investigative stories surrounding federal charges against the chief of police in an illegal gambling operation. Before becoming a reporter, Ashli worked at WSB-TV in Atlanta, Georgia. While there Ashli was a researcher for the special projects unit.
She worked on investigative stories for the station and had the opportunity of covering two of the biggest stories in Atlanta history, the Atlanta Public School System cheating scandal and the FBI’s investigation into police corruption, as a field producer. Ashli is a native from Atlanta, Ga. She holds a degree in Broadcast Journalism from Hampton University. Ashli is very active in community outreach. She is also a member of the National Association of Black Journalist (NABJ) and Investigative Reporters and Editors Association (IRE). Ashli is excited to cover all the different facets of St. Louis.
