Kirkwood police are investigating after the superintendent of Kirkwood Schools said 'racist and derogatory' statements were spray-painted onto three schools Wednesday.

A former Kirkwood High School student has filed a federal lawsuit against the school district and a former math teacher for sexual abuse. 

A Kirkwood High School graduate played a major role in the production of movie opening in theaters this weekend.

 Bad treatment of referees is one reason why there is a shortage of high school referees in the St. Louis area.

While a peaceful protest took place in downtown St. Louis Monday morning, three other protests occurred at local high schools throughout the St. Louis-area.  

Kirkwood High School officials are talking openly about what they are doing to try to prevent another tragedy. This comes as the community mourns the loss of a recent graduate, who, according to her obituary, died of a heroin overdose.
