SOUTH ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) --St. Louis police have charged a 17-year-old with robbery in the first-degree after he allegedly carjacked a woman in South City last week.

Police say Ethan Hill and another man approached a vehicle near the intersection of Kingshighway and Manchester with a woman inside. The other man flashed a gun and tried to open the passenger door and told her to get out of the car. Hill and the other suspect drove off, according to police.

On September 16, officers spotted the stolen vehicle and pursued it. Officers apprehended the driver, Hill. Hill admitted that he participated in the robbery of the vehicle.

Hill has been charged with robbery in the first-degree and armed criminal action.
