4-year-old battling Leukemia spends day as St. Louis County officer

ST. LOUIS COUNTY (KMOV.com) – St. Louis County officers granted a 4-year-old’s wish to be a police officer.

Auggie Powers, who has Leukemia, wanted to be a police officer, so the St. Louis County Police Department granted that wish on Wednesday.

The department shared photos of Auggie and his family spending the day with their officers. He got to meet K9 Officer Onyx, the Tactical Unit, check out the helicopter and even had a pizza party with St. Louis County Executive Steve Stenger.

Auggie found out he had Leukemia on Christmas Day and received a visit from the

KMOV Surprise Squad in February 2017
