Police are investigating a double murder, suicide that occurred in Florissant Wednesday.
Authorities said they received a call just before 12:30 p.m. about a welfare check in the 1400 block of East Duchesne. When officers arrived, they found three people shot dead inside the home, the apparent murder weapon near one of the bodies.
"There was a gun located next to one of the deceased," said Steve Michael, with the Florissant Police Dept., "they were all located in the same part of the house so at this point we believe it was a domestic incident."
Police said there was no sign of forced entry.
The victims were later identified as Yolanda Novoa, 29, Giovanni Novoa, 31, and their 6-year-old daughter Ylineh Novoa.
Records show Giovanni Novoa owned a lawn care business, Novoa's Lawn Care, from the family's home.
"Nobody deserves this," said Jane Simmons, who lives across the street from the family.
