Six people were injured during two triple shootings that occurred within an hour of one another in north St. Louis Tuesday afternoon.
In the first shooting, which occurred around 4:54 p.m. near the intersection of Goodfellow and Sherry, two women and one man were shot during a large fight.
All of the victims were taken to local hospitals. The male victim was listed in critical, unstable condition but was later upgraded to critical, stable. One of the women was listed as stable and the other was listed as critical, stable. A third woman was found at the scene with a laceration but she declined medical attention, police said.
According to police, three other people reported being shot at during the incident. They were not injured.
About an hour later, two men were shot in the leg and a 12-year-old boy was shot in the hand near the intersection of Angelica and 22nd Street.
All three were taken to a hospital in stable condition.
According to police, the trio said they were standing outside when they saw the suspect approach them from a vacant lot down the street. The suspect then fired several rounds.
Both investigations are ongoing.
