TOWN AND COUNTRY, Mo. (KMOV.com) --Police in Town and Country are searching for a woman they say stole a purse from a customer's shopping cart.

The incident happened last Saturday at the Whole Foods at the corner of Clayton and Woods Mill Roads. Police say the suspect was wearing a long sleeve gray shirt, yoga pants and Nike tennis shoes.

Less than half an hour later, credit cards under the victim’s name were used at the Walmart in Manchester. Police say the victim’s credit card had charges totaling over $7,000.

"I was just extremely upset by the whole thing," said the victim, Kim Fogertey.
