Vietnam veteran’s remains returned to Missouri 45 years later

 

(KMOV.com) – The remains of a veteran killed in Vietnam were returned to Missouri 45 years after the man had died.

The body of Rodney Griffin, a U.S soldier shot down and killed in Vietnam when he was 20, arrived at Lambert Airport this morning.

Griffin's family still lives in Centralia, Missouri. A public funeral service will happen Saturday in Centralia.
