ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) – An unlicensed teen crashed into a fire truck in north St. Louis Tuesday morning.

Fire officials told News 4 two teenagers, neither of which had a driver’s license, were in a car when it ran a stop sign and hit the front of the fire truck at Sheridan and Glasgow around 8 a.m.

Both teens had to be rescued from inside the vehicle after the crash. They both refused medical treatment at the scene.

According to the fire department, the front end of the fire truck was destroyed in the crash and will need to be replaced. The cost to replace it is currently unknown.
