If you've driven through the Chesterfield Valley recently you can't help but noticed the massive three-story TopGolf building just north of Interstate 64.
The wait for the area's first TopGolf is almost over as they eye an August 3 opening, according to their website.
The entertainment venue features golf games, a bar, food and live music. Based out of Dallas, they are locations all across the country but this is the first for this part of Missouri. A Kansas City location opened in 2015.
"Every day people are walking in even though we have a sign out front saying 'under construction,' they are saying 'when can we come play?" said Ben Wolski with TopGolf St. Louis.
The City of Chesterfield hopes TopGolf will bring other development to that part of the valley. The Taubman Outlet is located next door and is already being rebranded as an entertainment complex including a movie theater and bowling alley.
TopGolf features a high-tech driving range with different games to play. They provide balls and clubs and say more than 50 percent of their customers are new to golf.
Prices start at $20 an hour for a bay that holds six and goes up to $45 on Friday and Saturdays.
