FLORISSANT, Mo. (KMOV.com) – Two teenagers are facing charges following an armed robbery in Florissant earlier in the week.
Toreyan Moore, 18, and Anthony Tyler, 17, are accused of approaching a man near the intersection of Waterford and St. Anthony on Tuesday around 3:45 p.m. After approaching the man, they showed a gun and forcibly took his backpack, cell phone and other items.
Following the robbery, the victim’s family tracked the stolen cell phone to an area near Grandview Shopping area. When a family member of the victim and another person went to the area to confront the suspect, Moore reportedly fired shots at them.
Moore was quickly arrested and confessed to the robbery and firing shots, according to police. Tyler was also arrested and confessed to participating in the robbery. They are both being held at the St. Louis County Jail on $100,000 cash-only bond.
