Police are searching for a masked man who beat a man with a gun during a robbery in St. Peters.

Matthew Blanc, 18, is charged with burglary, robbery and armed criminal action after investigators say he and another man, who is still on the loose, assaulted the homeowner on Heritage Manor Court on November 29.

The victim told police Blanc knocked on the back door of his home and said he had been there in the past for a party and asked could he use the phone. The victim let him in but then a masked man also entered, holding a gun.

“[The victim] was ordered to the ground and assaulted, getting struck in the face multiple times by the masked man,” according to court documents.

The thieves stole a television, Playstation 4, laptop and games.

They took off but the victim got a look at their white pick-up truck that had a white camper shell attachment.

Police arrested Blanc and are still looking for the masked man.
