VENICE, Ill. (KMOV.com) - A 38-year-old man was charged with first degree murder Friday for the shooting death of a man in Venice, Ill in early October.
Kevin A. Campbell, 38, was charged with two counts of first degree murder and one count of unlawful possession of weapons for the murder of Tyrone Williams,
Officers from the Venice Department were called to the parking lot of Williams Autobody after a 911 call shortly after midnight on October 6.
The body of Tyrone Williams was located in the parking lot.
Detectives determined a dispute arose earlier leading to an altercation in the parking lot. Campbell shot Williams seven times during the exchange before fleeing the scene.
Campbell’s bond is set at $2,500,000.
