ST. LOUIS, Mo (KMOV.com) – St. Louis University will make massive budget cuts next week which will affect staff member’s jobs.
SLU plans to cut about four percent of jobs Tuesday, March 7 which means about 120 positions.
The university said the cuts were necessary because of a $16 million deficit it experienced this past fiscal year.
The deficit is blamed on a decline in enrollment and increases in operation expenses.
