In honor of Earth Day, a local non-profit organization is hosting their annual festival this weekend in Forest Park.
St. Louis Earth Day plans to continue to teach attendees about local businesses who do their part to help the environment and promote sustainable loving during it's 29th annual festival. The event will feature food, music and activities for children.
The festival's goal is to be a zero-waste event.
"So what that means is that trash generated at the festival will not end up at the landfill," said Jen Myserscough of St. Louis Earth Day.
The festival will continue Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. near the Muny Grounds in Forest Park.
