ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) -- The St. Louis Blues have added a new member to the team. Well, not a player, but a puppy!

After asking the fans for help choosing a name for the pup, they've finally settled on BarClay!

The Blues tweeted out the name of their new canine friend along with his "stats", including his favorite game snack and favorite toy.

The Blues have partnered with Duo, a non-profit organization that specializes in training service dogs, to adopt a yellow Labrador Retriever puppy for the season. As "puppy raisers," the Blues will host the pup in the front office and at home games to assist it in developing its necessary socialization needs.

Once Barclay has completed his 18-month training and qualifies for certification, Duo will find his best fit as a service dog.

For the next 18 months, be on the lookout for the Blues' pup at home games at Enterprise Center, and stay up to date on its development by visiting following @stlbluespup on Instagram.
