(Meredith/KPTM) -- A restaurant server in Nebraska has been fired after posting a video of the governor without a mask on.

The company said Karina Montanez violated policy but she says she was performing a public service.

"I wasn't bashing the restaurant. Yes, the video was recorded in the restaurant but the purpose of the video was to show people how our governor is about while we're in this pandemic where people are literally dying," Montanez told KPTM.
