Prosecutors charge two men in Motel 6 armed robbery

Charges have been filed after an early morning armed robbery at a Motel 6 in Florissant Monday.

St. Louis County police say Tremon Chambers, 25, and Tyrone Purham, 19, robbed two people at gunpoint at the motel located on Dunn Road. The two victims cell phones were robbed.

Police tracked down both suspects a short time later and made the arrest. Chambers and Purham also confessed to a robbery at a Quick Trip in Maryland Heights before robbing the Motel 6.

Chambers and Purham are charged with three counts of robbery in the first-degree and are being at the St. Louis County Jail on a $150,000 bond.
