HAZELWOOD, Mo. (KMOV.com) -- A project dubbed "the largest youth sports complex in America" may soon have a home in one of two local cities.
The project, which Chesterfield turned down earlier this year, could land at the old Mills Mall in Hazelwood or another site about 10 minutes away on 370 in St. Peters.
The facility, which could house multiple regulation soccer and baseball fields under a single roof, could begin being built next spring.
Whichever city is chosen will likely contribute tax dollars to the construction, though the exact amount is still unknown.
