ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) -- Area police departments are beginning to compare notes after a recent spate of car windows being shot out has spread from the city out to St. Louis County.
In St. Louis, approximately 46 vehicles had windows damaged by what appears to be a BB gun over the weekend, with the biggest concentration happening in the area of Koeln, Blow, Robert, Germania, Sharp and South Grand.
Metro police do not have any suspect information to go on beyond a description of the perpetrators as two black males in a dark colored vehicle.
Overnight from Sunday to Monday, Maplewood police say 16 vehicles were damaged in the same way. Authorities also confirmed Clayton, Richmond Heights and Webster Groves had similar incidents, but did not have totals as of Monday afternoon.
The four agencies have begun working together in the hopes of finding a common thread and locating the suspects.
