CHESTERFIELD, Mo. (KMOV.com) – Firefighters spent three hours working to control a fire at the Spirit of St. Louis Airport overnight.
The fire, which started around 1:30 a.m. Monday, damaged two planes and two hangars at the airport.
Fire Marshal Roger Herin said the buildings also sustained smoke and water damage.
No one was injured during the fire.
The cause of the fire is currently unknown.
