A new farm-to-table café is slated to open at the base of the Arch on July 4, the construction company building the café announced Wednesday.
Construction on the restaurant called the Arch Café started this week, Spiegelglass Construction said.
The 1,600 square-foot café will offer farm-to-table food including St. Louis-style ribs, toasted ravioli, hamburgers, paninis, as well as vegetarian and gluten-free items.
Spiegelglass Construction says organic produce and locally-sourced foods will also be available. A coffee bar, vending machines and box lunches for groups will also be options.
The company says the new café will use a zero-waste where almost all of the waste is recycled or composted.
