O’FALLON, Mo. (KMOV.com) – A driver had to be rescued after a pick-up truck crashed into the side of a home in O’Fallon, Missouri late Sunday night.

Truck in side of house

A pick-up truck hit the side of a home in O'Fallon, Mo. Oct. 21.

Howard then went outside and saw the driver of the truck laying on the ground. The driver began to wheeze and then stopped breathing, at which time Howard, a former lifeguard, said he performed CPR and was able to get the driver breathing again.

The driver was taken to the hospital.

The woman who lives inside the home was sleeping in the room just inside where the truck hit, according to Howard. She was not injured.
