(Meredith) -- Remember the popular Motorola Razr flip phone that was released in the early 2000s? Well, Motorola is expected to bring back the device as a smartphone!

According to Wall Street Journal, the once-popular flip phone will revived as a smartphone with a few upgrades including a foldable screen.

The price of the device is estimated to start at $1,500. Lenovo Group Inc., is partnering with Verizon Communications Inc. on an exclusive deal to begin selling the phone to customers in the U.S., possibly in February.

Officials say the phone is still being tested and an official release date has not been confirmed.
