FERGUSON, Mo. (KMOV.com) -- The eastbound lanes of I-270 just past the Washington/Elizabeth exit were reopened after a deadly motorcycle crash Monday evening.

According to MSHP, Kenneth Holland, 30, was riding his 2007 Honda CR600 at a high rate of speed, weaving in and out of the traffic lanes. He lost control of his motorcycle and rear-ended a Chevrolet Tahoe.

Holland was ejected during the crash. Two of the westbound lanes were also blocked with emergency vehicles at the time of the crash.

St. Louis County police said Holland died at a local hospital.
