Hurricane Michael

BOONE COUNTY, Mo. (KMOV.com) -- Missouri Task Force 1, a team of 16 individuals, was sent to Panama City to aid Hurricane Michael relief efforts. 

The team received a wide search and recon mission assignment in a neighborhood in Panama City. 

According to a Facebook post, by Friday morning, the team evaluated 268 structures and found nine failed structures and three destroyed.

The team was able to speak to citizens and provide humanitarian aid where needed.
