(KMOV.com) – The search for a missing 3-year-old girl who was abducted in Arkansas is over.

Police found the child in Grayville, Ill., right on the border of Indiana.

An alert officer on a routine patrol spotted a car matching the description of the suspects' vehicle and did a traffic stop. Police arrested the two suspects, identified as Chelsea Munholland, and her boyfriend, Herbert Allen Thomas.

Police say Munholland and Thomas took Layla, the 3-year-old, from her great-grandmother’s home in Van Buren, Ark. early Friday morning.

Layla’s mother is currently waiting for a bed in the Arkansas Department of Correction for narcotics and theft charges.

They were most recently seen spotted on surveillance footage in St. Clair, Mo., about an hour south of St. Louis.
