Man accused of robbing teens he agreed to sell drugs to

A man is facing charges, accused of robbing three victims whom he agreed to sell narcotics to.

Travis Green, 19, of Gray Summit is charged with second-degree robbery and fourth-degree assault.

Police say three teens went to a home in the 200 block of Hill Drive in Gray Summit to meet Green so they could buy narcotics.

Green is accused of entering the car the teens were in, taking their keys and threatening to hurt them if they didn’t hand over the money they had on them.

The victims told police Green stole $850 and returned their car keys. Police said the victims fled and called 911.

Green was late arrested at his home. He is being held on a $40,000 cash-only bond.
