Local tow truck drivers from across the area gathered to deliver a message to the public: think about safety the next time you're on the road.
On Sunday, a group of drivers took part in a caravan from St. Ann to Collinsville, Illinois to encourage other drivers to slow down and move over for emergency crews.
News 4 spoke with tow truck driver Adam Main who has been hit three times while on the job.
"When it happened I was just worried if this was minor or did I get hard enough or injured. Luckily I was okay, " Main said.
Both Missouri and Illinois have state laws requiring motorist to move over for tow trucks and other emergency vehicles.
