( - Tuck Eultgen says he feels like a family member has been taken away from him.

“I have three young boys and they are devastated by it,” said Eultgen.

He says they boarded his Saint Bernard BoBo with the training boarding company Hagnum-K9 in O’Fallon, Mo.

He says while on vacation his wife got the call from the trainer saying he’d lost the dog.

“I was in disbelief,” said Eultgen.

Eultgen says the trainer told him while teaching the dog how to sit in the backyard, it became distracted and ran off.

The home where the training facility is has no fencing.

“It just doesn't make sense to me," said Eultgen.

News 4 tried to call the owner of Hagnum- K9. He never returned our calls, instead, he would only chat on Facebook.

Eultgen says their dog served as a comfort dog for his family after his wife was recently diagnosed with Lupus.

“I want to know what happened to my dog, was he lost was he stolen," said Eultgen.

Since BoBo’s disappearance, Eultgen’s family has searched nearby woods and neighborhoods looking for him.

The family has started a GoFund Me account to help pay for an out-of-state investigator who searches for lost dogs.
