ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) – A local high school student’s recent homework assignment brought many people to tears and prompted the school to share his story.
It began as a writing assignment at Fort Zumwalt East High School. The assignment was to write two paragraphs about how you see yourself and how you think others see you.
Adam Morgan’s response essay brought many people to tears. The 16-year-old has autism and uses an iPad to communicate.
After reading the essay, his school’s principal wanted to share Morgan’s story. So he got five people who are closest to him to create a video of them reading the essay.
The video has been viewed more than 4,000 times on Twitter.
