6 hospitalized after early morning hit-and-run crash in St. Charles County

ST. CHARLES COUNTY, Mo. (KMOV.com) – Six people were taken to the hospital following an early morning hit-and-run crash in St. Charles County.

The patients, which range in age from 14 to 43, were inside a 2005 Ford F150 when it was hit by a maroon truck on southbound US 67 just north of Route 94 around 3:15 a.m. After being hit, the Ford F150, which was pulling a camper trailer, left the right side of the roadway and struck two trees

Fire officials helped to get people out of the crashed truck.

The six patients were taken to local hospitals with moderate injuries.

Officials said the maroon truck that hit the Ford F150 left the scene before police arrived.
