A local restaurant has re-opened after overnight burglars heavily damaged the front-end of the business overnight Saturday.

Owners of the Hi-Pointe Drive-In restaurant located at 1033 McCausland in St. Louis said a group of suspects used a brick to break the glass of the front entrance and entered the business.

The suspects ripped all of their cash registers and threw them when they realized no money was inside.

Hi-Pointe restaurant says it will still donate 5 percent of Sunday's sales to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern Missouri.

No other information has been released.
