ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) – St. Louis area restaurants are getting ready for the annual Lenten fish fry season next week. Starting Feb. 17 until April 2, locals can stop by several businesses to enjoy a tasty meal.
Below is a list of St. Louis-area organizations that will be holding Lenten Fish Frys this year. To get a Fish Fry added to the list, email the information to Share@KMOV.com.
All Saints Catholic Church: Located at 7 McMenamy Road in St. Peters and will offer drive-thru only service on Feb. 19, 26 and March 5, 12, 19 and 26.
American Legion Post 400: The post, located at #2 Gravois Road in Fenton, host fish fries during Lent on Fridays from 3-7 PM. Dine-in and carry out are available.
Assumption-Mattese Parish: Despite switching to drive-thru only, Assumption Parish Fish Fry (4709 Mattis Rd. in St. Louis) is still going strong. Diners can pre order online at AssumptionFishFry.org or order at the drive-thru. events will be held Fridays during Lent (February 19, February 26, March 5, March 12, March 19, March 26, April 2) between 4:30- 7 p.m.
Diego’s Cantina: Located at 630 North and South Road in University City, Diego’s continues to serve its barramundi tacos, along with other seafood specialties during the Lenten period. Dine in and curbside are available.
Eckert’s Country Restaurant: The restaurant, located at ,951 S. Green Mount Rd., Belleville, IL 62220, will offer curbside pick-up starting Ash Wednesday until April 2. Beginning March 1, guests can dine-in at Eckert’s Country Restaurant, and order the family Fish Fry Meal for 4 for dine-in or pick-up to go.
Ellis Grove Volunteer Fire Department: The fire department will host Lenten fish fries on February 19 and 26, and March 5, 19, 26 as well as April 2 (no fish fry March 12). The events will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and will be all-you-can-eat at their location on 501 Eggenmeyer Plaza. Call 618-859-3743 or check their Facebook page for dine-in updates.
Epiphany of Our Lord: The fish-fry tradition will continue through online orders. Customers will order online and pay at the time of pickup with cash or check starting Feb. 19 until March 26 from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. The Church is at 6596 Smiley Avenue
Florissant Elks Lodge #2316: Every Friday thru April 2, the lodge will have carry-out only available from 4-7:30 p.m.
Frida’s: Frida’s entire menu complies with the Lenten Friday. Dine in and curbside are available at their location at 622 North and South Road. Order in house or online.
High Ridge Elks: On Feb. 19, March 12 and April 2, High Ridge Elks will host fish fries at 2808 Old Hunning Road in High Ridge. Call 636-677-3557 for more details.
Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church: Pre-orders will be accepted Saturday through Wednesday so locals can enjoy a Friday night dish. The church is at 1910 Serbian Drive.
Knights of Columbus #2269: The lodge at 202 W. 3rd Street in O'Fallon, Missouri will have $10 fish place available curbside on Fridays from 5-7 p.m. Pre-orders are encouraged and can be made calling 636-281-9223 or 717-919-7558 or by clicking here.
Knights of Columbus #2269: The location will serve curbside pickup of cod, catfish, or combo plus green beans, coleslaw, potato salad and choice of chocolate or white slice of cake all for $10. The food will be served every Friday of Lent from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. at their location at 202 W. 3rd St. in O'Fallon.

Knights of Columbus #7198: The Cottleville location will offer a Lenten Fish Fry on Ash Wednesday 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. and every Friday during Lent 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Meals range from $5-$10 and the location, at 5701 Highway N in Cottleville, will only offer drive-thru service.
Knights of Columbus #8887: Ash Wednesday and the first six Fridays of Lent the location in Valley Park will have drive-thru only service with curbside pickup. Click here for more details.
Lion’s Choice (multiple locations in St. Louis): Their fan favorite COD sandwiches will be available throughout the entire Lenten season.
Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church: Fried cod, catfish nuggets & baked tilapia with choice of sides from 12-4:30 p.m. on Lenten Fridays. Located at 3519 North 14th Street in St. Louis. Carry out and curbside service only. Pre-order by calling 314-241-9165.
Nathaniel Reid Bakery: To enjoy food at the West County Bakery, you can either call ahead to pick up your curbside order or order in-person at the location at 11243 Manchester Rd, Kirkwood, MO 63122.
Our Lady of Guadalupe: The parish is offering pre-order and drive-thru services every Friday of Lent at 1115 South Florissant Road in Ferguson.
Our Lady Queen of Peace Church House Springs: Drive-thru only at 4696 Notre Dame Lane on Feb. 19, 26 & March 5, 12, 19 & 26th from 4-7 p.m. Fried cod, bass or both available for $10.
Parkmour Drive-In: Starting February 19 and continuing through Lent, The Parkmoor Drive-In will be offering a Friday fish fry. The restaurant is located at the 220 W. Lockwood Avenue.
Queen of All Saints Fish Fry: Located at 6603 Christopher in St. Louis and will hold fish fries following all COVID-19 protocols on Fridays during Lent except Good Friday. Order can be placed online here for pickup between 4 and 7 p.m.
Quincy Street Bistro: $15 Guinness Battered Fish & Chips every Friday through Lent at their restaurant at 6931 Gravois Avenue in the Princeton Heights area. Dine-in and carry out offered.
Retreat Gastropub: On Fridays during Lent, Retreat will offer an array of seafood appetizers and entrees. The restaurant is at 6 N Sarah St. in St. Louis.
Russell’s On Macklind: Dine-in and curbside will be available at their restaurant at 5400 Murdoch, St. Louis, MO 63109. To-go orders can be placed over the phone at (314) 553-9994.
Schlafy Beer: The brewery will offer fish and fries at all three brewpub locations for dine-in and curbside pick-up. All Schlafly brewpubs offer socially distanced dine-in service and curbside pick-up. Guests can place a curbside order for Schlafly Tap Room. Here's the three locations:

Seven Holy Founders: There will be a drive-thru fish fry held every Friday from February 19th thru March 26th from 4 p.m.-7 p.m. The menu includes fish, shrimp, fish tacos, and cheese pizza. St. Cecilia Parish: Famous for their original Mexican fish fry, the church and school traditionally draws huge crowds for their events. Due to the pandemic, they are taking online orders for curbside pickup at 5418 Louisiana Avenue. You can order here: http://stceciliaparishstl.org/fish-fry/
St. Cletus: The church will serve a menu of three seafood items at their 2721 Zumbehl Road location. Adults meals cost $12, kids meals cost $8. Meals come with choice of baked potato OR fries, hush puppies, corn bread, coleslaw, green beans and dessert.
St. Elizabeth Ann Seton: #2 Seton Court in St. Charles. Meals include fried cod, french fries, coleslaw, hush puppies and dessert. It's $10 for adults and $5 for children. Carry-out only.
St. Ferdinand Catholic Church: Opening Feb. 19, the church has carryout meals prepared from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. every Friday of Lent. You can stop by at 1765 Charbonier Road in Florissant.
St. Francis of Assisi: Every Friday of Lent from 4-7 p.m. at 4556 Telegraph Road for pre-order and drive-thru only. Click here for more information.
St. Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Church: From Feb. 19 to April 2, the parish will be selling three fixed meals for carryout but if the temperatures reach above 40 degrees, outdoor seating will be available in the parking lot at 6303 Nottingham Ave, St. Louis.
St. Gerard Majella Catholic Church: Fish fries will be held on February 19th, 26th, March 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th from 4:30pm until 7:30pm.
Due to capacity restrictions, dine-in will not be allowed, but the church, located at 1971 Daugherty Ferry Road, will offer drive-thru, carryout and curbside pickup, as well as delivery.
St. Henry Fish Fry: Every Friday during Lent from 4-7:30 p.m. at 5315 West Main Street in Belleville. Cod cut-ups, shrimp and baked salmon available with sides.
St. James The Greater: The Dogtown church features a massive menu for their fish fries, including their "world famous" clam chowder dish. They will hold curbside pickup at their location at 1360 Tamm Aveneue February 19 and 26 and March 5, 12, 19, 26 from 4:30 - 7:00 PM. Diners can order online and meals range between $5-$12.
Sts. Joachim and Ann Parish: Located at 4112 McClay Road in St Charles, MO 63304 will offer their Fish Fry every Friday during Lent (except Good Friday). Carry Out Only. Serving from 4:00pm to 7:00pm. Masks Required.
St. Joan of Arc: St. Joan of Arc began serving their fish fry February 12, ahead of most locations in the area. Meals are available for carryout from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. during Lent at their location at 5821 Pernod Avenue.
St. Joseph-Imperial: Meals will be served with green beans, coleslaw and french fires, every Friday in Lent from 4:30-7 p.m. at 6020 Old Antonia Road. Meals cost $10.
St. Luke's United Methodist Church: From Feb. 17-April 2 at 2761 Telegraph Road 63125 at the St. Luke's Parkhurst Gym from 4-7 p.m. Pre-order on their website for drive-thru only service.
St. Luke's EV Lutheran Church: Plates are $8.50 from 3-6 p.m. at 3415 Taft.
St. Mary Magdalen: The church will host events February 19 and 26, then every Friday in March as well as April 2. Food will be served drive-thru only at 2618 S Brentwood Blvd from 4:30-7:30 p.m.
St. Peter Catholic Church: Those looking to pick up meals for Lent at St. Peter will have to drive to the school parking lot at 243 West Argonne Drive in Kirkwood and place an order. Then they can wait in their car for their food. The events will run every Friday from 4:30-7:30 p.m. from February 19 through March 26.
St. Teresa Parish Men's Club: The location at 1108 Lebanon Avenue in Belleville will sponsor a Lenten fish fry on Fridays February 19 and 26, and March 5, 12 and 19. The events will be carry-out only from 4 p.m. 7:30 p.m.
The National Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows: Fried Cod, Pollock and Shrimp, served with our own house made coleslaw and tartar sauce. Dine in and carry-out available on Fridays through April 2 at 442 South Demazenod in Belleville. Click here for more information.
VFW Post 3944: From 10:30 a.m. 7 p.m. at 10815 Midland Blvd. will serve catfish, cod, shrimp, and more.
VFW Post 4105: The post at 410 Rue St. Francois in Florissant will have a fish fry from 4-7:30 p.m. on Friday.
VFW POST 5327: 1414 Highway Z in Wentzville from Feb. 19-March 26. Call in orders accepted from 3:30-6:45 p.m. for carry-out only. Call (636) 639-1648.

Ash Wednesday is the start of the Lenten season and for Catholics and non-Catholics it’s also the start to Fish Fry season.
