Harrowing video of 115 MPH chase released by Missouri police

MARIES COUNTY, Mo. (KMOV.com) -- Incredible video was released out of Maries County, Missouri, just north of Rolla.

It shows just how quickly a law officer's job can change into something extremely dangerous.

A sheriff's deputy had pulled over the driver of a pickup, Alex Lange, for a traffic stop, but he took off after the officer asked him to step out of the truck.

The sheriff's department posted a three minute video of the chase in which the vehicles reached speeds up to 115 miles per hour on narrow roads.

The chase went into Gasconade County where Lange wrecked.

Officers arrested him, later releasing information that he has several felony warrants for his arrest plus numerous new charges stemming from the chase.
