O'FALLON, Mo.(KMOV.com)- A local woman went to Haiti to teach orphans how to dance.

Michelle Revelle quit her job as a high school teacher and dance coach to open up "My King Dance Studio."

Revelle partnered with a group called "Joy" in Haiti, where she traveled 1,700 miles to teach dance to orphans and under-privileged youth.

Revelle has been to Haiti twice so far and plan to go back in 2019 to continue impacting their lives through dance. She said she believes dance opens the eyes of young people in Haiti to possibilities.
