The St. Louis Circuit Attorney's Office issued warrants for 2nd degree murder, armed criminal action, and distributing/delivering under five grams of Marijuana against Jermaine Stabler and Ronald Harris. Stabler, 20, of the 4000 block of C.D. Banks and Ronald Harris, 20, of the 100 block of Stonewood in O'Fallon, Mo. are being held on a $1,000,000 cash-only bond.
Around 10:48 p.m. on Sept. 12, police responded to a call in the 400 block of Sarah Street. Upon arrival, police found Shaw on the ground and unconscious.
According to police, a juvenile who was with Perkins told them that Perkins and several other people drove from O'Fallon, Mo. to St. Louis to buy marijuana. The juvenile told police he watched from the car as Perkins tried to rob Shaw on a sidewalk before Perkins shot her.
The juvenile witness told police he then ran from the car before the driver picked him up. While the group was traveling back to O'Fallon, Perkins allegedly said he wanted to sell the gun used in the shooting.
The next day, the witness confronted Perkins about the shooting, who then admitted what he did, police say.
Shaw, 54, was transported to the hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.
