Ferguson Imo's manager shot during robbery attempt

FERGUSON, Mo. (KMOV.com) – An Imo's Pizza manager was shot in Ferguson Sunday night according to police.

Officers responded to the 500 block of Airport Road around 10:45 p.m. for an armed robbery in progress at an Imo's Pizza.

Two suspects reportedly entered the business and pointed guns at employees, telling them to get on the floor. One of the suspects headed toward the office and the manager followed him.

At some point when they were in the office, a fight broke out, and witnesses reported hearing gunshots. The second suspect entered the office and fired several more times, then both men left with an undisclosed amount of money.

When officers arrived, the manager, who was shot multiple times, was sitting outside. He was taken to a local hospital, and the remaining employees were escorted out.

Police are still conducting interviews, but are searching for two black males in their mid-20s. Suspect one is six feet tall and was wearing a pink hat, blue scarf, black leather jacket and white gloves. He was armed with a rife.

The second man was described as having a light complexion, wearing a red hat, black scarf, red shirt, and blue jeans. He was armed with a handgun.

Anyone with information is urged to call police.

This latest shooting comes two days a man and woman were fatally shot Saturday morning.
