EAST ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) --- The East St. Louis Police Department arrested a 51-year-old man after his mother was found inside her home brutally beaten.
Officers arrived to a home in Bougainville Drive on Feb. 3 where they found a woman that had been attacked. In a social media post, police described the victim as an elderly woman over the age of 60.
During the investigation, detectives learned the woman's car was missing from her home.
Miles away in downtown St. Louis, the woman's car spotted by local police and arrested her son 51-year-old Marlon Glasper, who was behind the wheel.
Glasper was charged with two felony counts of aggravated domestic battery and two felony .counts of aggravated battery against a victim over 60 years old.
His bond is set at $100,000.
No additional information has been released. The investigation is going.
