The St. Louis County Prosecutor's Office has charged a man with DWI and Death of Another after a motorcyclist was killed and in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday in South St. Louis County.

The accident happened around 4 p.m. on Lemay Ferry Rd. near the Phillips 66/Texaco gas station. According to police, 58-year-old Murrell Ferguson pulled onto Lemay Ferry from a business parking lot and failed to yield to oncoming traffic.

The motorcyclist, identified as 20-year-old Jacob Kaiser, was traveling southbound on Lemay Ferry when Ferguson pulled out and collided with his motorcycle. Ferguson then continued on and hit a gas pump at the Phillips 66/Texaco station, which started a fire.

Kaiser was taken to the hospital but was later pronounced dead. Ferguson was taken to the hospital with moderate injuries, and while there, it was determined his BAC was .082.

He now faces charges in Kaiser's death and is being held on $100,000 cash only, no 10 percent bond.
