NORTH ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) – Two people were shot, including a bystander, following an argument in north St. Louis on Saturday night.
According to authorities, a woman was standing next to her vehicle in a parking lot located in 900 block of MLK, when she noticed several men arguing, followed by gunshots.
The woman was shot in the leg and fled to a nearby hotel. She was immediately transported to a local hospital and listed as stable.
While on scene, police were also notified of another victim, a 20-year-old man that had been shot and was being treated at a local hospital for a gunshot wound to the thigh. The man was listed in stable condition.
The man told police he was in the area of 10th and MLK when he and his friends got into an argument with the unknown suspects. He said the suspects confronted them for no particular reason.
One of the subjects fired gunshots at the 20-year-old man, hitting him.
Police say the suspects may be driving a gray Mitsubishi Eclipse and a dark-colored Pontiac Grand Am.
Several other parked vehicles were also damaged by gunfire.
The investigation is ongoing.
