Detour signs for through traffic will direct motorists to Sulphur Spring Road, New Ballwin Road and Ramsey Road.
Temporary stop signs will be placed at the Ramsey-Ballwin Commons Drive intersection during the closure. Also, no left turns will be permitted onto Manchester Road by northbound vehicles on Ramsey.
The contractor for the bridge work is KCI Construction is the contractor. The project is 80 percent funded by the Federal Highway Administration.
A letter has been sent to residents in the affected area with a map showing the closure area and detours.
