ST. LOUIS ( – St. Louis native Andy Cohen named those who vandalized a Jewish cemetery in University City the “Jackhole of the Day” on his Bravo show “Watch What Happens Live” Monday night.

Hours after it was discovered that hundreds of headstones were knocked over or damaged at the Chesed Shel Emeth Cemetery, Cohen took his late-night talk show and talked about the “acts of hate” that have taken place across the country.

“We are not even two months into 2017 and already there have been 69 reported bomb threats to JCCs (Jewish Community Centers) in 27 states, a synagogue was defaced, swastikas have been drawn on the subway here in New York City, and now this. This does not feel like a coincidence. We cannot allow acts of hate against anyone to become normal, we have got to do better as a country.”

In the almost minute-long segment, Cohen said his grandparents and other family members were buried at the cemetery.
