SAINT LOUIS, August 1-31, 2019: Join us for a series of events with Rachel Simmons as she presents FLOCK with an exhibition, artist talk, and a workshop. Rachel is an artist-educator who teaches foundations, print making, and book arts at Rollins College, Orlando, Florida. Rachel Simmons received her MFA in Painting and Drawing from Louisiana State University. 

FLOCK is a socially engaged project which draws connections between the subculture of bird watching and our broader cultural values through collaborative, community dialogue and printmaking.” Rachel Simmons has exhibited at the Constellation Studios in Lincoln, NE, Orlando Science Center, and Cornell Fine Arts Museum on the Rollins campus. “FLOCK began in Lincoln, NE, where I facilitated a “print action” in which local art/bird enthusiasts assisted me in creating a flock printed bird silhouettes at Constellation Studios.”
