It’s back to school time once again in St. Louis - and that means teens are concerned with looking their best for picture day, homecoming dances, and snapping selfies in the halls between classes. The return of the school year also means parents are breathing a sigh of relief and wondering how they can find the time for a little self-care. To provide solutions to both problems, Morgan Ford Spas are offering a Back to School Skin Care Class where moms and dads can help their kids look and feel their best while also learning more about their own skin care needs.

The class and product testing event will be held at Morgan Ford Spas’ Webster Groves location, 31 N. Gore Avenue, 63119, from 6-8pm on Tuesday, September 19, 2019. The event will feature teas from locally-based company Nuwati Herbals, Bioelements product samples, and demonstrations. Morgan Ford’s estheticians will offer a mini-course in caring for teenage skin, along with a complimentary skin analysis. Participants in the skin care class will be able to test a variety of Bioelements products and will receive a free trial-sized Bioelements product.

“We’re excited to help teens put their best faces forward and feel more comfortable in their skin,” explained Morgan Ford Spas’ co-owner and licensed esthetician Jennifer Coke. “At the same time, we want to make sure that parents have their skin questions answered and feel as confident as possible, too.”

Coke stated that in addition to offering free trial-sized products at the event, licensed estheticians Holly Essner, Kimberly Chettle, and Jennifer Coke will be on hand to provide skin analysis, product recommendations, and advice for specific skin issues. They will also lead the class.

“We’ll talk about how and how often to wash their faces, how to treat various skin types, how to combat acne, and what types of cleansers, toners, masks, and moisturizers will best solve each guest’s skin concerns,” Essner enthused. Chettle explained that the same information will be made available to the parents who attend, along with advice on whether to try services like chemical peels or dermaplaning, as well as suggestions about serums and other anti-aging products.

Bioelements Professional Skin Care, founded in 1991, are skin-conscious, mindful and responsible product formulators, create products free of sulfates, phthalates, mineral oil, petrolatum, parabens, fragrance and dyes for professional in-spa and home use, and offer custom blending for any skin concern. Morgan Ford Spas are also proud to offer skincare products by Farmhouse Fresh and PCA.

For those unable to attend the event who would still like to learn more about skin care for teens or parents, Morgan Ford’s team of estheticians are available seven days a week. Schedule a facial at any of the three locations: Tower Grove, 3187 Morgan Ford Rd., St. Louis MO 63116; Soulard, 2027 S. 11th St, St. Louis MO 63104; and Webster Groves, 31 N. Gore Ave., St. Louis, MO 63119.

Morgan Ford Spas, three full-service day spas in the St. Louis area, provide a variety of modalities of massage, facials, waxing, scrubs and wraps. They also offer corporate packages, on-site chair massage, spa party packages and couple’s services. Hours of operation are 9am-9pm Monday through Thursday and 9am-7pm Friday through Sunday.
