The Archdiocese of St. Louis is offering an Advent opportunity to share, treasure and live the truth that the coming of Christ has made a difference. This free 2.5 hour event held at 10 parishes across the archdiocese--six on Sunday, Dec. 1 and four on Sunday, Dec. 15--will begin with a shared meal, followed by a dynamic speaker and the opportunity to reach out with a donation of a Scrip gift card to the St. Vincent de Paul Society.

NOTE: Times of the event vary by parish. The full list of participating parishes and speakers, as well as registration options, are available at All are welcome to attend, including youth old enough to understand.

Attendees are encouraged to bring a donation of any amount in the form of a Scrip gift card for the less fortunate members of our community to this Advent event. The cards will be provided to the central office of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, which the organization will use to purchase much-needed items—such as undergarments and hygiene products—for the clients it serves.
