ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV) - Certain healthcare providers are allowing patients to take out loans or medical credit cards in efforts to pay for procedures. Prior to agreeing to do so, a federal consumer protection agency says you need to pay attention closely to what options are available.
Consumer reporter, Caresse Jackman spoke with a researcher on ways medical credit cards and loans are affecting patients, and possible alternatives.
