Police investigating suspicious death in North City

ST. LOUIS (KMOV) – A man was found dead in north St. Louis Thursday.

St. Louis police reported that a man was found dead in a vacant lot in the 4400 block of Cote Brilliante before 2 p.m. He was later identified as 56-year-old Timothy Watkins, of North County.

Homicide detectives were called to the scene to investigate. Monday, police classified the incident as a “suspicious death.,” pending autopsy results.
